A rarely seen unusual tropical Aroid. Amorphophallus atroviridis is found on rocky cliffs in north central Thailand. This beautiful species reaches approximately 40-50 cm tall. It has reddish brown (often speckled) stalks with wide-lobed, dark green, velvety leaves which are edged with a bright pink/red margin and have deep, pinnate venation.
Growth pattern: Reaches 40-50cm tall. Tuberous single petiole with one leaf. Leaf falls off in winter dormancy. Will resume in spring.
*Comes planted within 15cm terracotta pot.

Plant Care Tips
Water: Allow to dry out between waterings.Water evenly when the top 3 inches of the soil has dried out. Apply diluted feed monthly in Spring and Summer. In winter water very sparingly as the plant will go dormant at this time.
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Recommended Substrate: well drained growing mix
